Do you want to get rid of it because you want to get rid of it, or because the internet is telling you to get rid of it...?

You know, you bring up a very, very good point. I think all of the talk of the DCT, long term reliability concerns, etc are getting to me.

When I take that out of the equation, I have always enjoyed the car!

The only issue I'm having is when my AC is on high, I am getting a pretty loud rumbling noise. I need to get that checked.

No issues mean you should keep it if you still like it. I had tones of actual yet minor problems with my last new car but I still have it because I liked driving it and a loss wouldn't make me more happy.

My $0.02: Keep it. You have a good powertrain warranty.

Yeah, only you know what is best for you.

I'd say keep it if you're liking it. Use the forum to know what issues you might encounter and take good care to avoid them as much as you can. Any car in the world will have its vocal detractors online.

You're not having any major trouble, and you've got plenty of warranty left. Enjoy the car!

You'll take a huge loss. I feel like I shouldn't have got mine ... instead I feel like I should have got something for $3000 or so.

Anyway, I owe about $7500 on a 2 year old car with 30k on it. I'm going to have to run it until the wheels fall off to get what I feel is my money out of it ... unless someone wants to pay me top dollar for it.

You don't have any major problems, keep it for a bit.

Keep it.

In my opinion, there is a disproportionate amount of Focus owners with chronic problems that would never be on this forum otherwise.

This may be an over generalization, but there are two kinds of Focus owners in the MK3 section.

1) Fanatics - a small percentage of Focus owners who just gotta share their joy.
2) Answer seekers - a large percentage of the Focus owners who have chronic problems looking for answers.

They came here looking for answers and a place to vent.
