SOLD: Shifter Extension

Description: Taken from the WC Lathe Werks site, "This lever extension is machined from solid 5/8" diameter 303 Stainless Steel. Threads are cut into the bottom and on the top to fit the Subaru (and Focus) M12x1.25 shift lever and shift knobs. The center of the extension has two slight bends to allow the driver to position the knob closer to the wheel, closer to the rear, or any other orientation...The height of this extension is 9-inches tall, moving the shift knob much closer to the steering wheel. This positioning is great for racing because your hand does not have to move far to shift. It also brings the knob into your peripheral vision."

http://lathewerks.com/shop/product_i...roducts_id=155

I've had this extension on my Focus for about 2 years and it has worked great. Apparently the design has been updated to use a set screw instead of a jam nut like the one that I'm selling has. So because of this, you have to remove the reverse lock out collar to use this extender.

The only "problem" with it is that there is a small spot where the powder coat has started to flake off a little.

Not too sure of an absolute number. But you can adjust how far down the extension screws onto the shifter and depending on what knob you have you can adjust the height that way as well.

I was using it in conjunction with a Steeda STS too. For me the difference in gear distance was negligible. Having the shifter so close to the wheel was the main goal of having this on my car. Also it was much more comfortable daily driving.
