2012 Focus Trend with SYNC

Hi, I am about to buy a 2012 Focus Trend which comes with SYNC.

I have read a lot of threads about this topic but i have found mixed reviews and would appreciate if someone could clear a few things up for me.

My end goal is to replace the stock stereo with a double din touch screen unit (e.g. http://www.pioneer.com.au/au/product...50BT/page.html)

My questions are:

- Will I be able to use the steering wheel controls with the new head unit?

- Will all SYNC functionality be lost?

- Is the Metra Kit best?

yes no yes. i have the set up and it works great. only thing is the satelite radio will be lost unless the aftermarket radio is satelite ready/capable
