Question What class for scca?

Hey guys, so while I have competed in scca solo in the H-stock class I now have lowering springs, KYB AGX (I know this doesn't affect the class) MASSIVE camber and toe arms and SVT front and rear brakes on my 01 zx3. So since I had to swap the front knuckles to install the SVT front brakes I now think I only fit into a street modified class.

So does anyone know what class I am in for sure, I have a hard time getting some of that word phrasing in the rule book. I'll ask the officials to be sure but not sure they would know the answer for sure. I know its kind of late notice considering its tomorrow mourning but any help is appreciated.

If anyone is bored and in eastern Iowa tomorrow its at Hawkeye community college in Waterloo, just in case anyone is interested.

definately dont need to go to SMF.
in FSP all the foci are on one line so you can update/backdate (ie. SVT parts on your zx3). ive got SVT brakes on my zx3 in fsp.
aside from that you might fit in Street touring front STF. however i havent memorized that part of the rules

I think you will be fine in STF. Swapping your knuckles don't hit a red flag on me from the rule book. They may let you play in STF.

BTW, the Springs would have taken you out of H-Stock, it's Adjustable Shocks that don't.

But if they put you in FSP, might as well go ahead and strip the interior of the rear seats and carpet. And when you get a chance, go ahead and get an ORP and Adjustable Cam.

I assume these are the toe arms.

Those toe arms aren't legal STF or FSP legal, if it doesn't say you can, you can't. I can't find anywhere that says you can replace a TOE arm. Camber arm on a Strut car is legal.

That said I personally wouldn't give a rats ass if you ran against me. All it does is make rear toe adjustment easier and probably a few pounds lighter.

H. Camber kits, also known as camber compensators, may be installed.
These kits consist of either adjustable length arms or arm mounts
(including ball joints) that provide a lateral adjustment to the effective
length of a control arm. Alignment outside the factory specifications
is allowed. The following restrictions apply:
<snip>
3. On swing or trailing arm suspensions, the main arms may not be
modified or replaced, but lateral locating links/arms may be modified
or replaced.
That allowance is to adjust the camber, not the toe. I think if it doesn't say you can, you can't applies here. Doubly so if he has rear adjustable camber arms AND adjustable toe arms. Trust me I would LOVE to have a set of these as I HATE the cam style toe adjuster in the rear arm

BTW- Are you the guy who won STF at the Milwaukee Match tour this past weekend?

yea not both as in H.1, I think H.3 allows replacement but it must be set to factory length as in H.5 and then I.1.. I have total factory rear arms just springs shocks and bar.

And yes I took Third in Peru and First in Milwaukee Match tours. Here is the run that took the class win on Saturday. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7pObcK_-3Q
