Yup. AWD not gonna happen.

I see a tune, intake/exhaust, short throw, black stripes and wheels, some bodykitting, interior flourishes, maybe lowered, simpler things like that. It won't be radically different from the stock ST, but it's great to see the ST get any kind of aftermarket attention.

Even if they made an AWD Focus, it wouldn't likely see production because it would be too expensive and maybe even a little worse than a stock ST. I imagine that this will be an ST with bolt-ons and special paint, and be limited.

If an ST already cost in the price range of a WRX and the curb weight is about the same too I can't see how an AWD Focus would even be competitive. The Focus is a heavy car for being small and FWD.

As an MK3 owner I also agree, this is great news for everyone owning a Focus and shouldn't placed in the MK3 forum.

I'm hoping they upgrade the turbo and bring this bad boy up to 325-350hp.

The middle turbo here is what the ST is screaming for. 20g FTW. Good response, and you'll actually FEEL the spool, which is one of the best parts of owning a turbocharged car.

I'll still hope for a miracle in the form of AWD, even though you're all probably right about it not happening. Auto show optimism, right? I just struggle with the idea of a 300+ HP FWD car.

In any case, it's all good - I assume most of us won't be buying one anyway!
