Fair enough. I normally fill up at BP which offers 87 and 93 and I did not see an appreciable difference between them and the 87 performs well. The 87 I got from a citgo yesterday was crap. I assume if BPs 87 was decent, the 93 should be as well, but who knows.

87 or 91, mine has always been buttery (complete with the dang noise from the equally proverbial churn...) Quicker acceleration and higher MPG seem to be accorded the benefits of 91 Octane for me, but no transmission benefit as such. Not directly.

91 does have more power, but if the car's electronics didn't compensate for the slower dissipation rate 91 has (since 91 octane burns slower)...

So for you switching between the different octane fuels havent noticed a change in how the car acts during acceleration? I noticed a drastic change in
how it acted during shifting that actually had me convinced this car had a DCT
but with 87 I was fairly disapointed

AZfocus2012,

Can you please be more specific with the error message you received (a screen shot would also be helpful)? If thereís an issue with the site, I want to be able to send it up the line to be addressed.

I am satisfied with my 2013 DCT
Works just as it should. It's not always as smooth as a traditional auto however, I drive and have ridden in manuals it mostly feels like the manual cars and I am pleased with that. However I didn't vote extremely satisfied as it did have a small short period of time that it did the shuddering when accelerating from a stop. Only happened a handful of times and lasted about 300 miles from the 600 mile mark or so.
Never happened again after that
I am at 8000 miles now
