I think people describe more of a clunk than a squeak. The suspension on mine doesn't make any noise.

There really aren't that many privately sold (retail) units being exchanged at the 30,000 mile mark, but rental fleets tend to keep the cars for about 1 year or 30k and then get another new one.

Its unlikely to be lease turnover as unless they were very early 2011 build 2012 models they would not likely be coming up on two years yet, the minimum typical lease, and that seems like high mileage for a lease at 12k/year average for a lease.

My suspension doesn't clunk either, but I hear it'll drive you insane. That doesn't include the harassment from friends/family for buying a new car / Ford / etc.

mine was a rental.

doing well so far before and after the DCT update
there were some jerking before, but now either the computer adjusted or I adjusted and it's been working pretty well without much discomfort.
