Also seems like everybody is suffering from the suspension squeak, is that a big problem, or is it just the sound is annoying?

I think people describe more of a clunk than a squeak. The suspension on mine doesn't make any noise.

My suspension doesn't clunk either, but I hear it'll drive you insane. That doesn't include the harassment from friends/family for buying a new car / Ford / etc.

mine was a rental.

doing well so far before and after the DCT update
there were some jerking before, but now either the computer adjusted or I adjusted and it's been working pretty well without much discomfort.
