Current RE-11 is $212 for a 225/45-17. I don't foresee the prince on the 11A to be much less.

Definitely like the RE-11s ... but kinda wanna save a bit of money and both the RS3 and ZIs or ZIIs are 50 bucks at least cheaper per tire.

My Z2 order now is showing 'special order' for availability, and the price has dropped 12/tire since I placed my order. I emailed my contact to see how it is going to impact my order and if he can adjust my order total to match the current price.

Tire drama, ugh lol

Meet the BF Goodrich g-Force Rival, 200 Treadwear

Quote:
From Hollis Racing FB page:
"Here today for the launch of the new BFGoodrich g-Force Rival. Got 10 laps back to back between this and the new Dunlop on an MX5 Cup car. Full second faster on the Rival, which was much easier to drive at the limit. Very forgiving. Z2 was much more peaky with a narrow window at the limit. Rival also loves to make noise."

Sizes and pricing for the new BFG go live tomorrow on the Tire Rack website. I believe the actual tire weights are the only thing we won't have complete data on until we receive inventory.
What we have here is good ole' fashioned tire war.

Nice Goodrich tires you got there.

I have heard from some people saying the newer RE11s will cut the hype of the ZIIs. Hmm ... thoughts, thoughts and more thoughts in my head. I have the cash to get them, but want to wait until the newbie dust settles and I can get some solid reviews from sources.

I'm happy the Z2 is moderately priced. It will be interesting to see how Kumho prices the new V720. I'll be interested to see what everyone thinks of the new tires at the end of the year and which one ends up being the 'must have'.

The 215/40/17 Z2 is $20 cheaper than what I pad for the Z1 in September
