looking for some advice

Hello to all.
After owning a Rover for three years the time has come to get rid. Having considered our options the wife and i have considered going down the route of a convertible. Our budget would allow for a car around the 07-58 range but having looked at some sites it appears the focus really suffers from roof leakage. I also looked at an Astra first and they seem to have issues as well and i thought the focus would be better before i dug a little deeper.

Can anyone especially owners give me a better idea of the issues these cars have.

ooo. this is where the focus hits a fork in the road. The focus cabriolet was never offered in the US. Most of this section is full of american owned "2nd gens" (i put quotations because america has had the same focus underneath with different body styles for 11 years)

point is, you probably won't find an answer on here unless another member from across the pond responds :/
