Screen flicker when tapping harder than normal

So I got in my car and I tapped the screen a little harder than normal and the screen did this white flash kind of thing. I did it a couple other times and I could totally reproduce this. Would someone be willing to check this out in their ST ? Just tap the touch screen harder than you normally would and see if yours does this.

Just a quick observation, don't tap it like that. My computer screen will flicker under my finger tips if I push on it. So I don't do that.

that would be normal for a soft screen touch. try it on your phone and it won't do it.

Careful... or else you'll be buying a new screen

I cant completely believe that as my wifes navigation doesn't do that in her SUV

She probably has the harder glass screen.

What's your point? Is it the exact same navigation system as yours? Probably not, because if it was you wouldn't be asking.

my point is your response was a generalized statement based on my original post. your post clearly stereotyped all touch screen navigation units.

and if it was the same navigation system as mine I would be more likely to ask since it would appear that it shouldnt be happening.
