Mild turbo build or a wicked NA build. Boost would be the easy and cheap way to reach your goal.
I like the bottle since it fits my driving routes better than a turbo ever could. (Without being a super tiny one to spool right away anyways.)

For around 4000 you can put a turbo kit on the stock motor that was specifically designed for it and safely and reliably make over 200 whp. Many people have done this and the most popular kit seems to be the FSWERKS stage 2 duratec kit.

You'd dump more money into an N/A build getting to 200 than a mild turbo.

Why is the hp number critical? Decide what you want the car to do and then build accordingly.
Do you want a drag car in the 9s? Do you want a street sleeper? Do you just want something to reinvigorate your passion for the car? |

i have intake, header, exhaust, short throw shifter and a tune on my d20, not sure on the hp numbers, but ive see people with same mods on d20 making near 140whp, i enjoy how my car drives and sits low with my coilovers. Im planning lightweight flywheel and a new clutch in the near future and thats as far as i plan to go with it and the car makes me happy, feels as quick as the 2012 GTI i test drove recently, plus my car weighs 2600 pounds apposed to the 3000 pound gti

Mine is the same minus the header. Which brand do you have? I am looking for a little something to reinvigorate my passion for the car, as upstater said above. Pros/cons after header? I believe this will satisfy my car mod itch until I can get a Fiesta ST.

For a header= I like Fwerks header. You could get a obx off of e-bay for less. Get a stealth muffler for sure.
