Try not closing them both at the same time and see what the results are?

I think you would be pulling too much current, so the second window being controlled slows down due to this.

It's the same with my front windows, driver side is faster than the passenger side, but only by a 1/2 of a second. Even if I open one window at a time, same speed going up. Motor doesn't sound under stress or anything. It was like that since we got it. I thought about bring it up, but having them working on my driver's door so many times as it is and making the rattle worst, I decided not to. BTW, now my back door panel is rattling too, right in the middle where the handle on the arm rest is. Feels like I'm driving a tool box. Anyone having back door panel issues?

Mine's identical to this. Glad I'm not alone. It reminds me of the beginning stages of a bad window motor.

Hi everyone,

Make an appointment at your dealership so they can perform an inspection. Additionally, I'm happy to get your case into the hands of your regional customer service manager. Send me a PM with your VIN, dealer, mileage, daytime phone number, and full name; I'll get to work!

Crystal

Thanks Crystal. I am sort of worried about getting things loose at the dealership and then having rattles like MC1992. I haven't made up my mind yet, but won't have a chance to take it in anyway until next month. But if I do, I'll let you know.

I haven't had a chance to time them individually yet, but if putting two window up at the same time uses too much power on a 2013 Focus, but was perfectly fine on a 1996 Saturn, that's a problem!

Mine is all the same, no one touch with any other window but the driver front. It sucks ha

In my old Camry I had to replace the motor so many times because the side rubber was burning out the motor (almost once everyone 1.5 years).

Any how, do what Elizabeth and spray some silicone lube and it should be fine. If it's really slow definitely take it back to your dealer.

I have the same issue with my front passenger window being much slower than the drivers. Also it froze up on me several times during the winter and even once this spring when it barely dipped below freezing but there was not even any frost on it. During my next service call hopefully they can look at it but previous mention from them was not much they could do for it.

That sounds like a good plan of action, FordFocusNS. If you need additional assistance, you can reach out to my colleagues at Ford Canada. They can be contacted at 1-800-565-3673.
