I confirmed they sent me the wrong torque converter.
They sent me DA55. DA55 Diameter -10.25” (9” Bolt Circle), Pilot - .825” (1.0” Tall), Mount - 4 Studs Welded Around Studs, Splines - 16 Notes - Lock-Up 2000-07 Focus 2.0L, 2.3L, 1999-04 Protege 1.6L I should have received the DA54 DA54 Diameter -10.25” (8.875” Bolt Circle), Pilot - .825” (1.0” Tall), Mount - 4 Studs No Weld Around Studs, Splines - 16 Notes - Lock-Up 2000-07 Focus 2.0L, 2.3L, 1999-04 Protege 1.6L The bolt circle is 1/8th different!!!! That is why after 2 hrs of trying to get it to hook up it would not. It never was going to hook up! UGGGGG Now must wait for the correct torque converter to get here. |

I ended up talking to Len today and he apologized profusely for the incorrect TQ Converter being sent. He just ordered it from his parts vendor and they sent him the wrong one.
I mean its the same converter the only difference is one is 9" bolt circle and one is 8.875" not noticeable by eye. I am ordering one locally and sending the wrong one back to Len for a refund on it. On the + note he charged $350.00 for it and I will get the correct one locally for $175.00 cool engine brace for holding the engine up: ![]() Len on floor ![]() If you didnt know, I had a KAAZ LSD custom fit in this Lentech. It will get worked out this week. Peace, Joe |

Len usually orders the Ford Racing Torque Converter. Probably why it was $350.
Keep us posted on the Kaaz. I have a Torson in my Lentech. I have quaife on stand-by :)

Good luck with it. And that is a interesting engine brace. Haven't seen one like that b4 holding up the engine.
