stereo and dash display wont turn off :( hel[p please
hey all new here just want to know if anyone of you is having the same problem as me i wired a loc into my car for a amp and my amp stays on. The car is a 2013 focus the stereo stays on unless i turn it off and the sub hums help plz

Off the top of my head without more info I would say check your remote wire and make sure it is hooked up to something that only works when the car is running (i.e. turn signal fuse). If the remote wire is run into something that always has power your amp will stay on. As for the humming, it could be due to your amp being improperly grounded. Not sure on the stereo not turning off.

Yeah it might not be on a switched 12v fuse if you have a volt meter check whatever it's hooked up to and see if it's got power with the key off......as for road noise the rca's might be to close to the power wire if you ran them down the same side of the car. I dont know if you have boom or not but if you did then that's probabaly the problem.
