Am I miss a few bolts ? ?

Hi all,

I am new here and have been reading up on a few posts here and the content is amazing!!

I have a 2013 Focus SE Hatch with roughly 3900 miles on it so far and I have an odd question.

I was checking the oil the other day and noticed that there are "spaces" in the engine bay where it looks as if there should be bolts.

The images below indicate better as to what I am referring too:

I would really appreciate it if any one could confirm that theirs is the same otherwise time to give the dealership a call.

Much appreciated!!

It does look like there should be bolts there; but its not that severe.. as I see there is a supporting bolt holding that heat shield off to the right of the holes. I have the same exact year and model, I could check mine tomorrow when its daylight out to confirm. Not severe, but I would be upset too as its a brand new car, and already missing screws.

2012 Focus SE Hatch...appears identical to the pictures.

The heat shield is apparently molded to the insulation blanket it lays on top of.

Upon closer inspection of mine, I found the holes in question are NOT threaded, so it is unlikely Ford intended for any bolts to be there.

No worries!
