Focus Standard Stereo Question
Hey, I have a uk 53 plate (2004) Focus zetec estate & want to keep my stock radio & cd stereo. It has a cd changer option (which i run a 3.5 jack kit from) and has steering mounted controls. Does the stereo have preouts? or is there anyway I can wire an amplifier & sub to the stereo? Like things to stay looking standard.

you need a line out converter, this will tap in your right and left speaker wire(+ and -) on each side and the output will be RCA, you get get more high quality one that have gain settings and switched power for the remote, I did that on my 2012 focus, the converter I used is called a PAC SOEM-T Line out converter, google it or check on ebay, they are pretty cheap
this is what I used: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...AC-SOEM-T.html oh and if you wonder how I did it, check my thread about my build: http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=304837 |
