I have stumbled into a problem. I started the car and ran it around the block 8 times. it has been sitting for over 6 months. I have started it twice a month and let it idle for 15 minutes or a little more each time in between. after going into my driveway, the car shut off. I found the reset switch but found noting wrong there. I do not hear the fuel pump turn on period. I checked to fuse and it is not blown, 10 amp fuse I believe. I pour gas in the intake and it starts right up............what is going on? I need to check if power is going to the pump. Any ideas?

I want to be done by Christmas. my Christmas present

How much fuel do you have in it? I had to force power the pump when I powered my car on for the first time. granted I drained my tank and it was sitting for 2.5 years. but once I forced powered it on and got it all primed I have not had an issue with it since.

Start by replacing the filter, maybe should upgrade the pump...going to need it anyway

The built motor is not in the car yet. the car was driving and starting prior to not hearing the pump turn on. the engine was running then started to stumble like it was running out of fuel. then shut off. i knew it was low on gas. so i poured some gas in and when i cranked it..........i did not hear the the fuel pump turn on. i saw the number 10 amp fuel fuel.....not blown either
