Differences in left and right struts ?
i was looking at some new shocks for my grandmothers focus and it specifys left and right with different part numbers.
ive installed several different sets on my own and never saw any differences with left or right. so , simple question , is there ?

the only difference that I noticed in the l/r struts was the relative location of the swaybar endlink top bracket.

Some are the same and some not, depends on welded on bracketry and whether it's symmetrical or not.
