SVT oil temp gauge question

Okay, I was wondering what the normal spot for the needle to sit when it gets to operating temperature?

Ive noticed mine doesnt sit at the perfect middle and sits slightly higher. My coolant is in the middle of the MIN and MAX line. more towards the min line tho.

so ive got coolant.

that's about where mine sits. If it's saying steady there while the engine is running at normal operating temperature, i wouldn't be concerned.

that's weird, mine stays put. Mine used to act funny until I topped off the coolant. Maybe fill the reservoir and see if it stays more steady

when I first bought the car, it would rise almost all the way to the red line and then come back down, then I got a new radiator and cooling fans and it doesn't act that way anymore, but it does go past the middle point at times (but just enough to tell it is past that point) and when rolling it goes under the middle point or stays at it and will just go up a hair when stopping.

If there is a 180 degree thermostat in it. It may move up and down as you drive. I noticed this when i put the 180 thermostat in mine. My friend has one just like mine and his is stock and it sits a little over half way between pretty much all the time.

sits just above middle. I'd like to see what happens if/when I wrap my header and cat.

Water and oil temps seem to settle in the middle. Would really like a wet oil pressure and number temp readings but don't want to cut up the interior fitting them.
