2009 Water leak after rain in passenger rear floor

I just noticed an issue a few weeks ago after a hard rain. My passengers side rear floorboard will get very wet after it rains. From what I can tell, there are no leaks coming in through the door or window/seals.

I've done some quick online research (and by no means am I a car / tech expert...hence me needing to come to a forum to discuss this...) It seems that old models of ford focuses have an issue with the cowl near the windshield. From what I can gather, this is only for older models. Since my car is a 2009 model...could it be the same issue do you think?

Has anyone else had a problem with water leaks when it rains? It only shows up in the backseat floor...and I've been soaking it up with a towel but continually get frustrated that there isn't much about this out there. My only option is taking it to Ford to get looked at ($100 dollars just to LOOK at it! ugh). I already took it to a place that basically told me they didn't know what the problem was...but they did check it for AC leaks and said it was not my air conditioner.
