Yeah since I have no battery support at all and just 1 run of power that's 20 ft. long, my amp can't make anywhere near it's potential, so I knew I needed all the gain I could get. Using the whole back of the car was the easiest way to get it. It took some fiddling around with different vent lengths to get from 45s to a 50.

Right now it's around 26.5 cubes with 618" of port area, tuned to 42, peaks at 48. My goal is to squeeze 2 or 3 more dB out of it with low power, then I'll start buying batteries to get the 7-9kW outta the amp. In the end, I should be sitting somewhere around the 58 world, with no actual box :p

When I ever have the cash, I'ma sell the 7k and buy a 14k or maybe a 25k. That'd hopefully push me up to a 160, which was my original goal with one amp on two subs. If I dont make it to at least a 58 with one 14k, then I'm sell n upgrade to a 25k. If one 25k doesn't work, I'll get another. If two doesn't get me a 59, I'll end up with two more amps. One on every coil. That'll get it to 160, as long as I can get a 52-53 on low power first.

I'ma peep out your ride see what setup you're jammin'. How far from 50s are ya?

Dang you got a 2 18s wall? Cool! Can a cracker get a pic of it? I noticed your recent rig is 2 sa 8s. How do you like them? I have been interested in doin an 8s rig for 20 years and just never have. Now that those sa8s are doing so well, it's had my interest again. Maybe a box for 6 in the hatch. I bet that would be teh balls.

Id love to think I'm close to a 50 but I'm sure ill be disappointed after metering it. I just do it for fun though. Not chasing numbers.

Im going to go clean my car now and ill take a picture of it.

Yea I had 2 sa-8s v1s that I preordered in my truck and temporarily put them in my car until I got my OA 12s and now the 18s. I love the sa-8s. Probably my favorite subwoofer and I've had quite a few. The V2s are sick!

seeing how I was called out for FocusFest 2013, I went ahead and threw together a build. not the greatest work, but no one was able to challenge me.

Thank you sir. No issues with the windshield other than it flexing quite a bit. My passenger side window likes to slip down some and rattle pretty bad and I'm trying to track down a rattle by the pedals but other than that everything is good.
