feedback on this size turbocharger.

well i'm back at it again i've managed to score a precision turbo kit and it needs a turbo. since things need to be on a t25/t28 turbine housing i was looking around and saw this little number.

i'm thinking or ordering this with the .64 housing to help spool time.
the numbers on there are for an sr20det, so idont know how well it'll translate power wise to my svtf, but my goal is to have at least 300hp. maybe a little more. tell me what yo uguys think. but remember it needs to stay on the t25/28 housing. and have a 5 bolt discharge, as that is what my kit requires.

got your pm tom. ok so when going with a gt28 series what size turbine housing should a look at for good quick spool. say in teh low 3000 rpm range. i know this will limit top end a bit. but i'm wanting my car to ahve a nice thick pwoerband. if it holds to say about 6700 rpm i'll be happy.

Brenton my gt28r makes power very fast down low. I am guessing but I can see 11-12 psi around 3500 rpm very quickly.

the gt28r is a punchy, torquey little thing. I would go with that. I'm personally going with a gt28rs to spool later and save my slushbox from becoming slush :)

gtx2867r is what I have, went from a gt2860rs. Great choice on t2 series garrett!

inis what is the difference in feeling of power delivery on the gtx compared to the standard gt unit?

I haven't actaully ran it yet since new turbo, but it should be faster spool times, quiter, capable of more boost (nearly 40psi).

There is a thread on one of the silvia forums, has alot of feedback. All positive.
