Nos ?

2013 SE Focus, steeda cold air kit, soon to be SCT Tune. I have always heard that any unasked question is a dumb one ! But, I get curious sometimes.
Would Nitrous hurt my car in small, manageable amounts ?
I know my warranty would be void ?

New to the site not to up to speed on these engines.
Thanks for any comments, Eric

It will void warranty.

It is the safest forced induction if done properly.

New to Nitrous Kits for 4cyl non-turbos ! Wet or Dry System ? I don't want to give a 100hp shot , mor like 50-60- shot. Any suggestions on companies that make Focus specific or 4cyl Universal kits ? Thanks, Eric

35-50 wet shot.

Preferred things: RPM window switch, Fuel Pressure Safety Switch, progressive timer, tune.

Lots of places make kits and parts. MSD makes a great window switch, NOS,ZEX,NX, and many other brands make great nitrous kits. Any universal wet kit will work.

Thanks a lot Slick Willy ! Good list of recommended accessories, again thanks. I will check it all out. You mentioned wet kit,,,, saw on a couple sites where they say wet kits should go with super or turbo charged engines. Mine is neither, will that make a difference ??

Wet basically mixes the fuel and nitrous at the same time through a nozzle, where dry is only nitrous in the nozzle but when the system engages it puts a harder load on your fuel injectors getting you more fuel.

So in essence , if I decide on a NOS system stick with the "Wet" system versus the dry system,,,,,,, as the dry system will be harder on my fuel injectors ??

Subbed.

I didn't want to be the guy to make this thread but I've been waiting for it.

I also want to spray my Focus but I have a few concerns.
1. I need a better clutch. My tires have more traction than my clutch. I.E. I can literally just dump the clutch at the drag strip and I get 2.2 60's all day long and can't chirp second, all clutch.

2. I don't think anybody knows how much power these motors can take.

That being said I have an aquantance that sprayed his 12 hatch automatic and had a best time of 14.2 @100 with a 2.3 60'. It was a 50 shot.
