New car and pics!

I know it isn't a Focus anymore and I will miss my 2007 pitch black ST but we are all "car guys/gals" and no one more then you will appreciate new car pics!! :) And of course it is still a Ford!!! So if anyone knows a board for Escapes that can be as friendly, helpful and welcoming as you guys have been through out the years

Actually the new Escape is a Focus underneath at least technically, both are based on the C1 platform, so technically it's not that far apart from the 2012+ Ford Focus, lol.

well I did find the side mirror puddle light/LED swap was the same.. Yes I had the Escape for less then an hour before LED bulbs were in the license plate holder/rear cargo light/side markers/puddle lights/fog lights. The wife just shook her head. The pain I already see was attempting to even get to the bumper lights (blinkers and parking) I can reach them but can't unplug the bulbs. So much for the easy way. I will have to find a "How To"

I see a lot of new escapes being re-sold shortly after ownership in a lot of car lots. I guess a lot of folks don't like the size or performance? I don't know, but personally I think it's a nice vehicle and would love to own one.

Nice ride!
they as mentioned are on the same platform as the focus and look similar. I like their look and if I were in the market for a small suv it'd be my choice.

I am not sure.. It rides great and it is quite quick. I might be a bit biased already but I swear I think it is faster then my ST was. Maybe people buy just the base models and get rid of them wishing they got a new car will all the bells and whistles.

EXTREMELY common on all new cars. People buy them thinking they can afford it but can't. I remember a sales man telling me I could afford a 2012 Taraus SHO, 860$ a month payments when I was only making 12.23 an hour at Winn Dixie (Grocery Store), at age 19.

Nice Escape, I owned a '04 Escape that I traded in on a '12 Escape before trading in on my '13 Focus. I just tried trading in on a new '14 Escape but couldn't close a deal as I still owe too much on my Focus. A good forum for you to check out is http://escape-city.com/
