The timing belt is the primary failure point of the Zetec engine, it cannot be ignored. If you have over 60k on the original belt I would highly recommend that you replace it along with the other belt components.

I drive through SC fairly often so I could help you with changing the belt if you need some help.

'Preciate it. And it just tripped 43k miles. But I should probably still change it soon anyway.
