2015 wagon rumors......

Nothing specific, but my sister mentioned rumors of a 2015 wagon for the US market.............

A ST version would be really nice......

Don't count on it. You're encouraged to by a C-Max hybrid/ phev or the Escape if you want more passenger and cargo volume on a Focus chassis in the U.S. so far.

NO..... not those "ONE FORD" rumors again..... this is really annoying. We would have "one Global Ford" if the NA market had:

1) A Ranger pickup
2) A Grand C-Max with sliding doors
3) A Focus wagon.

I think all that "One Ford" really translates into is "we're going to sell the Mustang in China and Europe" because I don't think the F-series is sold in China. I could be wrong, but they still have a long way to get to "one Ford" if they don't give up on it.

What we can all do is petition our government to remove restrictions on small pickup trucks. That's what is keeping the Ranger and other small pickups out of our market currently. It's also what makes those trucks so expensive. I read about that law somewhere, but can't recall what it's called. It's another fine example of the BS that our lawmakers (of either party) throw into bills because some millionaire campaign supporter wants to flex puppet strings. It could also be an example of why we should drug test and alcohol test them before and after legislative sessions.

Here it is.... it's due to CAFE regulations, and we won't be seeing any of those cars mentioned above (save maybe a Grand C-Max in PHEV or HEV) in the USA any time soon- if ever. They need to revise CAFE, but getting politicians to work is like trying to get a one legged duck to swim in a straight line.

To sum it up, any 'cool' rumor is highly unlikely in the USA. Europe gets all the cool cars, I told my boyfriend who works for Porsche that we should pack up our bags and move there by the time we're 30. We're huge Top Gear freaks too we just don't get options here like they do in Europe, not fair!
