smoked taillights

Im assuming that because 2014 is too new that is the reason im unable to find anything other than tinting for taillights. So how is the best way to go about this and from whom should I purchase the best product?

I (and the black Focus) both used VHT Nightshades:

You can also use vinyl, but Nightshades is easier as it's just a spray.

I used Niteshade and hated it. I found it difficult to get a smooth finish, even with wetsanding and clearcoat. I opted for using lamin-x tint instead.

Before Lamin-X:

After Lamin-X:

Go with LaminX. That way when you get pulled over for them you can just remove it on scene so that hopefully the officer does not give you a ticket...

Yep. Just another reason why tints are better

I want to tint my 3rd brake light and tails in a light tint and my fogs in yellow.

Checked out laminX but damn!

$50 for tail light tint..
$13 for fog lights
$55 for headlights.

I know you get what you pay for most of the time but thats pretty bad..

Are you using Tint, Gunsmoke, Smoked, or Charcoal? Im thinking smoked would look best on my gray car.

Don't put it on your fogs. Just get yellow bulbs.

And don't buy pre-cuts. Get a sheet from eBay, and do it that way. I tried pre-cuts. Not worth the aggravation.

Already have yellow bulbs. Need deeper yellow.

I heard the sheets are a PITA to work with.

You have a link to what you bought?
