SPI turbo
We have a 2003 Ford Focus with 180,000 miles that just did the #2 cylinder valve seat drop. I am really interested in doing a small performance build. I would like to do a jackson racing superchager kit conversion to one. Also i really want to crank up the boost on this so i wanted to do some perfomance pistons and rods. Does anyone know where i can get those? Also a zetec swap is way to much work for what this worth. I also wanted to ask what will the stock 5 speed transmission. Any suggestions?

Yeah, stay where you're at. If you think a simple zetec-already-been-engineered-to-work swap is too much trouble, you have much enlightenment coming in the future...........your idea of 'a small performance build' is going to need some serious adjustment to agree with the real world. Giving away modern 4 valve tech to old school 2 valve low HP tech is ridiculous. The supercharger will only make that difference lightyears worse.
Of course, some people ENJOY banging their heads into the wall. |
