A question regarding coil overs.

I wish the mods would make a suspension sticky for us.

The 06-07 suspension will work on the 08+ (direct swap)

If you want to use the 00-05 you need the Omni kit. The diameter of the front struts were smaller in 00-05. So, if you would try to install the earlier style strut on an 08+ front knuckle, it wouldn't tighten up properly. The Omni kit has sleeves that fill in this gap on the knuckle.

You can also use 05 (and 05 only) front knuckles. These are a direct swap on the 08+. The 05 knuckle has the smaller strut hole, but the larger ball joint hole on the knuckle. The 05-11 uses a larger diameter ball joint "stud".

The reason for using the earlier style is that it will give you more options when selecting a suspension kit.
