Change Footwell Lights with LED

I have a 2012 focus and checking the weak stock footwell lights, it seems that its a little chip with a very dim greenish glow connected to a 2 or 3 needle connector. Any way to change this so i can use a wedge LED?

I have the same model as you... i've installed two led strip. (passenger and driver)

Also in the hatch area (weak little T10 halogen)

Its bright but not that bright (camera night mode)

Hope this help

I wouldn't replace them with halogen or high current T10 socket white led. (not sure if the circuit is designed to handle such large current in this model)
2012 was the only model with footwell leds. 2013+ use halogen (unless you have led ambiance package).

15$ for the Natural White led strip (eBay #161165293496)
