^Yep, "flash to pass". They've had it in most European cars for years. My '03 Audi A4 had it. One of those things you don't even realize how nice it is until you don't have it.

I like how pushing the trunk button twice pops the trunk open all the way on the sedan, and that there's a trunk button on the trunk itself. Genius.

What's even better is that if you press it just once it unlocks just the hatch so you can use the button on the hatch (or trunk if you had a sedan) to open it without drawing attention to the car especially at night as it gives no visual clue that its unlocked until you come to the car, as opposed to unlocking all the doors first and having the corner lamps, puddle lamps and tail lamps light up to tell the world its open.

I didn't know it did that so tried it on my sedan but the trunk opens only when the button on the fob is pressed twice.... Is this a programming issue w/ the fob?

Yep. That's what I'm talking about. Such a simple thing, and yet so very handy to just be able to open the trunk whenever.

Wow, that's awesome. I always thought I had to unlock the whole thing. the car really stands out at night with the interior lights.

If you have intelligent access, you don't have to push anything if your keys are with you. The hatch will unlock when you press the button. And if you don't unlock the doors, the hazards will flash once when the hatch is closed to let you know the car is still locked.

I have to try this! I always wished there was a way to warm up my right hand that's forced to be on the shifter knob. Thanks.

I like the option to have just the fogs on with the parking lights;with my 4Runner it was a simple wire jump in the fuse box under the hood to achieve this.

Also noticed when you are parked sitting in the car with the engine running and you don't have the seatbelt latched you don't get the belt reminder unless you are actually moving.

The Fiat 500 I rented had the most annoying belt minder in the world. Start the car and God forbid if the passenger didn't have his belt on in 0.6 seconds. BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP BEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP BEPBEPBEPBEPBEP!
