Thought I'd make a thread showing off my completed Turbo build. Not everything is completed yet (appearance wise) but its boosting strong and pulling hard.
My build thread HERE Top shot of the engine bay...needz the FSwerks engine cover! ![]() Air filter placement... ![]() Turbo time.... ![]() Turbosmart Kompact BOV....its loud as hell... ![]() No clearance issues here.... ![]() 42lb Ford green tops... ![]() Piping to the intercooler (Will eventually paint black and get matching couplers) ![]() Oil Pressure sender and Oil feed line... ![]() Gauges... ![]() And the dyno sheet from McNews on a conservative 8 psi tune.... ![]() Justin

Also wanted to say that this is my daily driver and has 108K on the clock (90% highway mileage, for real). I'm the second owner.

That is nice man, good job. I was looking at the piping and i was curious to how you are metering the air? I see the BOV is vented to the atmosphere so im assuming its a blow through style. I just didnt see where the meter is unless your using a MAP sensor.

There is a 3" tube between that 90* coupler and the throttle body with my stock MAF sensor in it. Its basically the same orientation as stock. Ray @McNews didn't have any issues tuning but my low end drive-ability was effected slightly due to the air passing so slow over the MAF.

Whoa man, you need to brag about your tq curve! 3100rpm-5500rpms your putting out over 200ft-lbs. of TQ! Amazing IMO, looks like it's very drivable and flexible in the power department. Dare I say stock looking? You'll have to tell us
