im in process of selling my tmaxx 3.3 and was looking at the traxxas slash raptor edition.Anybody have any experiance with this truck?Pros/Cons?

Going from nitro to electric, huh? How 'bout real gas= HPI's 5b?

Ill admit they look real sick...and the batteries have come so far. Youll def want to upgrade the battery though

I might be a bit late for this, but if you can hold out till beginning of 2013, traxxas is releasing a robby gordon Dakar Rally version of the slash with the truck/suv body. It looks pretty cool.

They are just too big and too expensive! But they are really cool! The guy who was gonna buy my tmaxx stood me up so im probally keeping in an just upgrading the shock.Maybe buy an electric this summer.

I was thinking about getting a Slash for my first hobby RC. I haven't heard anything bad about them (if anything) and they have most of the features I'm looking for.

They are pretty good. I'd for sure get a diff. That'll give you more steering. Or just get the Slash 4x4 Ultimate #6807 which gives you a lot of upgrades.
