Dumb light covering question...
Well, I searched the how-to section and didn't see this so I figured I would ask here. What I wanna do is pretty simple. I just want to cover my grill indicators, side markers, and fogs with something that looks black when the lights are off, but when the lights light-up it looks normal. What would do this, if anything? Thanks for any help.

yea , you can buy vinyl light film , kinda like tint , ebay has a bunch , i personally would buy lamin-x brand myself but im sure they are all fine

I used Rustoleum Lens Tint (sort of like the VHT Niteshades in a rattlecan..) I prefer the Rustoleum one because it looks super dark, but the light comes through really, really well. Even in broad daylight. Also, the Rustoleum is a lot more glossy and better looking right out of the can, without any runs or swirls or heavy spots. The niteshades requires a lot of prep work and finishing that the Rustoleum does not. Luck!

lens tint you can put it on as dark as you want. That way you don't meke it too dark for light issues.

Anyone else recommend Rustoleum over VHT Niteshade? I know where to get Niteshade, but not the Rustoleum stuff.

I only used rustolium because that's what was on sale and carried at AZ. When I went to do it all the write ups I read used the VHT
