Odd headlight problem
I have an 01 ZX3. Two days ago my driver side low beam stopped working. Thinking nothing of it I replaced it with a new bulb. But after I installed it, the driver low beam still didn't work. So I started googling possible symptoms. Tonight the driver side low beam now works and the passenger side low and high beams do not. Could the problem be the relays are going out?
Thanks, Joseph |

the relays would be a good place to start.

I'd take a look for wiring harness grounds in the headlight area, it sounds like you are loosing ground intermittently.
Meter could help, but it might show ground even when it's inadequate to carry the load. being an '01, even in NC it could be rusty where they connect to the chassis. |

Update: this morning none of my low beams work and the passenger side high beam doesn't work. Only the driver side high beam works.

Update 2. On my right side the plug on the right side headlight house came out and I put that back in snug and also my left side lights work now high and low. I will buy a new relay Friday and see if the problem still persists.
