Sup

Sup from MIA
just got my ZX3 3 weeks ago, already got the short ram intake, 2" Flowmaster Cat-Back
Springs are coming in any day. Diablo Chip in a couple days and Rims 2 maybe 3 weeks after that.
Quick question, everyone seems to have the bigger aftermarket throttle body intalled. How much of a difference does it make, and does it void warranty?

whats up man? congrats on the car. not tryin to bash but u may want to consider a dif catback, flowmaster's is the smalles diameter available. throttle body is awesome, u get a lot better throttle response, def a mod id reccomend. if u want wheels at a great price check out www.wheelmax.com or contact whoahizmyflow on this board.

i went with the flowmaster cause 2" is perfect didnt want to loose too much back pressure and if i decide to go turbo then i'll move up but for now 2" is best and sounds nice. On the loud side, but not ricey at all its made a big noticible difference. How much of the warranty does the Throttle body void if any.

Also, anyone wasting alot of gas? I seem to eat through my tank quick. I try to save by shifting at around 3k rpm but i still waste alot, dunno why.

the throttle body will not void any type of warrenty...the only thing it will void is you iac motor, your tps, your throttle cable if something happens to go wrong with one of them...and thats about all...

hey dude,

sorry to tell you, i think you've finally found the one downfall of the Focus, it's just not a hugely fuel efficient car. Not too bad really, but probably one of the least fuel efficient 2.0L engines around. More reason to mod!!!!!!!

Hey Euro..thanks for the wheel link. I really was looking for a good priced wheel and well...you helped bunches. I know this is a tard question but...what finish would you recomend? I have a black se. I dont know this kind of stuff but I do know that I do need some wheels. Also, what size would you recomend and what difference would it make (pertaining to look and what not)?.
