Why is this car not sold in the US: Focus ST Estate

I can't believe Ford continues to deprive Americans of the focus wagon. And a Focus ST wagon would be even better.

$42,401.22 - hmm, not sure about this. Wait a minute, no, I'm REAL sure it's way too much.

It's because too many people here don't understand how cool wagons are.

It would have been on my list when car shopping if it was available.

The ST wagon isn't sold here because the Focus Wagon isn't sold here and that's a different story. If the Wagon were sold in the states, I'm pretty shore the ST version would be as well.

Because "Americans don't buy wagons."

I'd buy an ST Estate in a heartbeat, and wouldn't even bother cross-shopping it with anything else (as I intend to do if the hatch is still the only choice for 2014). Can't think of a more perfect car for me.

Hard to sell a Focus with a price tag that stretches past $30k pricetag. Let america digest the near $30k price of the ST first and overcome it's dowdy reputation among americans and we might see a wagon version.

We don't get the three door ST either, or the RS, or the falcon, or the ranchero.... We have come to just except it and move on.
