It does so, I posted it. Info specific to 2006 does not exist on the internet anywhere. If you're looking for cruise system retrofit information that applies to Focus that could aid you in such a project, it has already been posted here by others and myself. There are only minor differences from 2000 through 2007 and this was mentioned in other threads. The only significant change between 2000 and 2007 was the physical location of the servo module assembly which moved from firewall area on Zetec to behind the left headlight on Duratec. ALL Focus duratec cruise systems are virtually identical thru 2007.

Hint: I own a 2007, so it's 100% identical to your 2006. I'm not going to repost technical information again, so please search. If you have specific questions about information missing from prior threads, simply post followup questions in those threads. I would be delighted to help you in cases where clarification or additional information is needed.

wow that is kind of a harsh reply. i tried searchin and couldn't really find anything helpful either. The whole point of these forums are to help others.

Anyway; If you're wanting it to be the factory cruise then you will prolly need several things.
obviously you will need the cruise buttons. the rest depends on what may already be in the car. if it's cable driven throttle body then you may need to get the cruise module for the cable system that mounts under the hood. may also need to cruise switch for the brake if it doesn't have it. also once it's all hooked up the bcm may need to be programmed at the dealer for it to work.

if you need all the parts then it might be a good idea to find another focus that's being parted out and see what you can take from it as these parts aren't cheap to buy new. Without seeing the car I don't know what all is needed or not, but that's a general idea of what parts might be needed.

Here's the link to an aftermarket system you can get. not plug and play like a factory setup (can require some creativeness to get it installed and adjusted), but a less expensive option than buying new oem parts.

WOW Lsc, way to show the new guy how welcome he is here! That's a good way to loose a fellow fanatic in a hurry. To be HELPFULL to the OP check this out http://www.focusfanatics.com/downloa...se_control.pdf Being an 06 it will be a little different, but this is basically how to do it. I hope you don't think everyone is rude to people asking a simple question. I have looked fo this info as well, and their is not much info or "how-to's" on the subject. Us 06 and 07 drivers have it rough.

That was really un-needed

INDEED, Kipp!! This is precisely why I spent a couple weeks collecting information about 2005-2007 cruise control conversion for my strippo S car in order to perform the job and then posted it here to help others. I also posted information to help others relating to OEM power lock conversion, OEM power mirror conversion and OEM power window conversion. I also posted info for a Garmin GPS in-dash installation. I twice alerted the OP about my prior cruise postings and provided additional information learned after performing the project. It seems fairly easy to search on my userID or review threads relating to "cruise", so I fail to understand what's missing. I believe all that's needed is to review existing cruise conversion posts as I suggested and possibly ask some followup questions. Reposting results in fragmentation of technical documentation, so reactivating existing threads would better serve the members.

I searched on lscman & again on cruise. In both cases, all these old "help threads" came up. These threads with "pics and all" were collected over many months and serve an excellent starting point from an instruction and training standpoint.
