down pipe, cat back and CAI question..

howdy folks,

just a quick question, im thinking of getting the cobb down pipe, borla cat back, and and undetermined CAI (wanting to wait for the AEM, just preference).
anyway the question is will i have trouble codes pop up with the down pipe and other accessories?? i had an 03 zx3 with AEM CAI, and Borla and all was fine till i added the highflow cat then the o2 codes popped up, i know all i needed was a
tune but at the time was strapped for cash and was ready to do it cause it was paid for and out of warranty. my main concern is my warranty for the ST (still a toss up, might just say to heck with it and go all the way and get a tune as well), but if i can get away with the 3 mods for now with no trouble i might do that as well... any input is appreciated. thanks all.

Like you said it is a toss up, you could throw codes or you could be fine. I would say go ahead and throw your mods on and see what happens, I would also sugest getting a tune anyways but make sure you do all mods first before tuning for the best possible outcome. I have AEM CAI, high flow cat and 2 1/2" magnaflow cat back with stock headers on a 02 svt and I have no code troubles. Because of the better flow/breathability with the aftermarket mods, your computer sometimes gets confused and this is why it will throw codes. Best of luck to you, now go on and mod the hell outta that car of yours!
