How to remove headlights?

Can someone link me to a how-to guide on how to remove the front headlights of the 2012 Focus?

Just got my new bulbs in and want to do a easy swap

Pop the hood, two screws hold a headlight in, unscrew, slide it up/out. Simple as that. That's how they are in the MK3 Focus!

Open the manual. The how-to guide is in there.

I understand what you imply here.

The OP asked for a how-to. Here's a how-to with pictures and everything on how to replace every bulb in your car. There's no better how-to than what the manufacturer wrote. (nothing against Wilson here)

you do need the t-16 (same one used to take the felt cover off the bottom of the car if you are changing the oil). Two silver/grey colored screws with a black tab or osmething if i recall.

Indeed. Does T-16 even exist? I have a 100+ piece security bit set and there's no such thing in there.

I just used a flat tip screwdriver and unscrewed the headlights.

But now I have another question. Im looking into getting audi style led strips and was wondering, where I would be able to hook them up at?

I want them to come on with the parking lights.

Tips/help?

That does work too, but I recommend you get a torx bit kit so you don't strip the corners off.

You know those are IN the housing, right? Do you know about the echomaster DRL kit? There are threads here all about it and it's a pretty high quality kit. You wire them so they're always on. You don't even need to touch the switch.
