Yeah, lay off me lol. I'm just a teenager. Lol. I'm glad i got my parts. I did see the eagle eyes. Don't like the looks of them. And i do have an HID kit that are going in the headlights i just bought. I bought the kit used for 20.00 bucko's here on the forum. And i have looked on ebay and car parts and nothing. The few that were on car-part had light scratches and some broken tabs on some of them. One the clear coat was pealing off and another was foggy not clear. So i decided to get new. Oh, and taking the head lights apart and doing the painting thing, i don't really know how to do that nor have the time to attempt it.

there have been a few around here looking for those lights and they don't come up often. Yes there are less expensive options such as pulling the lights apart and painting them and painting the grill as well, but if this is the way you wanted to do it then more power to ya.

As far as the hid's go, i know it's not recommended to put them in a stock housing, but these ones seem to do well with them. there is a little shroud around the bulb that provides a good cutoff for them. I have a 35w kit in mine and they work great and don't aim high enough to blind anyone. good luck with finishing your project.

and yes i would also say to sell the chrome ones you have to try to offset the cost of these. i see them go on CL all the time for a decent price.

A teenager who drives a 2008 Focus and has $1,000 to throw at headlights and a grille.. Seems legit.

At any rate.. shop around next time. Save yourself a lot of money.

The age doesn't matter :P I'm 19 and I have this car since 18 and I spent few grands on it :). I work hard for every penny on it so I think it's the same for him ;) But, when you take a look at junkyards, Focusfanatic forum and ebay, you can find interesting stuff with low prices :) I found my SVT seats in a junkyard for 320$ (all of them). When you wait and take the time to shop, you save money, as simple as this !

Those eagle eyes are fugly.

Easiest solution would have been to strip the chrome off the grill and headlight. Nail polish remover or oven cleaner would have done the trick.

But you really must have money burning holes in your pockets if you were desperate enough to pay over a grand on headlights and a grill.
