My MFT has problems here and there but I do love the idea it just needs some more work it seems to be a bit slow to respond and doesn't always want to play from my flash drives.

What version is your mom's uconnect..

You probably think its boring because you are ignorant to the fact that Chrysler has many variants of the system...

If your mom can only afford the basic well ofcourse its boring.

Also remember when BMW rolled the iDrive system out years ago. Car and driver, motor trend, and every other vehicle publication HATED it. Took BMW years to work all the kinks out and delivery a quality system. Ford is on the right path though and as long as they keep listening to the complaints and actively update the program I'd say in a year MFT will be written up better the BMW system.

Yeah, I'm not surprised at hearing Cadillac's CUE system is having rebooting problems.



I am surprised at the slow response to touch (it has a capacitive screen) and I've read numerous reports of the out-of-control increasing volume problem, something MFT banished fairly early on.
