Thanks guys. It really sucks I couldn't make it. St. Louis is practically my home. I planned on seeing family too, as I havent seen them since 2009.

Next year should be my year. My truck will be ready and my car will have definitely the hand controls installed.

@ Mods: Is it possible to merge this thread into this one: http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=266468 ?

Sorry :( The company ordered the wrong parts for the steering column, so now I have to wait another few months.

Here's a late update

June was an eventful month for my car. I was unable to find a caregiver to help me while I would have been at All Ford Nationals, so I didn't go. Jeremy helped me greatly and brought my car to the show for me. We both went 50/50 on a 50ft trailer just for the show...lol I was pretty happy with the out come. I snagged three plaques and an opportunity to have my car next to the Mk2 RS :)

However (pause for effect)...before the show and a day after tuning back in late May, my car overheated. The cause turned out to be melted wires to the RS radiator fans...You'd think ceramic coated pipes would help...ha. 240F for me is too high; especially in Florida's 90+F weather. We were able to get by after letting her cool down. The drive across Tampa Bay is pretty long and with the ocean breeze kept the temps down to 180F. As you saw in the video in my previous update, we loaded the car up on the trailer for the show as soon as we finished tuning Jeremy's car.

Sooooo after the show, my Jeremy offered to fix the melted wires. Along the way he discovered the turbo wasn't spooling properly at idle or with a light touch of the gas pedal. As you probably guessed already, the turbo's central hub rotating assembly (CHRA) overheated too. Water & Oil cooled turbos can be a pain sometimes. So now that's off and disassembled awaiting a RMA with Garrett. I also plan to add a turbo blanket and wrap my downpipe this time.

The photos below were not taken by me and compose of a few phone shots to some pricy cameras. Credit to those that took 'em!

The 50ft to and from the show. What a monster!
