Brother how Else does a company realize there is a demand if people do not say anything? I for one have not gone crazy on them and my store is a SCT dealer.

I am not saying people should go nuts we should just show them there is a market.

Hahaha maybe we should start circulating a facebook post that says "We need X likes to convince SCT to make a tune for the MK3!"

Also, have 'we' also approached other big tuner companies? We should really be pushing for Cobb imho. They have already taken a stock MK3 and given it a boost...

Why not approach Ford Racing Performance Parts? They offer the ProCal calibration tool with their power packs on the Mustang; maybe if they see enough people interested, they would offer a power pack for the NA MK3. Perhaps a Focus power pack would consist of a CAI, the existing FRPP cat-back, and a performance calibration. It's not the full tuning that many are looking for, but it would at least be a start. I image that FRPP has access to all the data they need to create this.

I recall reading an article about FRPP offering the 2.0L Ti-VCT in their crate engine program (although it's still not in their catalog), so they must have at least SOME interest in performance applications of this engine. Just a thought....

It is in the catalog, it just doesn't show up on the top level, same as the ST's EcoBoost engine.

Does the Focus' competition have tunes for their NA cars? (Mazda3,Cruze,Subi,etc.)

I talked to my friend at Hypertech. He saw that Cobb was tuning the ST, cussed a bit, and said that Cobb couldn't tune their way out of a paper bag.

Apparently they have a tuner for the ST coming. I asked about the N/A cars and he avoided the question. lmao
