Questions about Clutch in this car

I just bought a 2004 Focus SVT it has 94500 miles on is and herd about a TSB on the clutch. How do you know if the clutch in going bad. It grabs fine and it does not slip but seems to enguage very high on the clutch pedal. If I do need to replace the clutch what do you all recommend. They seem expencive.

From a stop, can you get the car moving in 2nd gear? Thats usually a good indicator.

Another good one is how hard the pedal is to push, if it takes alot of pressure, its nearing the end of its lifetime.

Of course, there is slip as well. If you get on it hard, does the cluch slip? If not, then you are good.

Alot of people have gone over 150k on the stock clutch.
