Yeah, there is one steamboatin did as a beater, looked good, had black wheels and trim.

Go for it! It's just paint and time, if you don't like it after you do it change it or sell it. I was thinking matte dark brown wheels or bright orange, red or yellow would look good.

I saw one locally, but it was a total beater with a massive fart can, and smashed up bumpers.

Done right, it could look sick, done wrong, nty.

^^ This, would look great if done right. Vinyl wrap is always an option as an alternative to paint.

^that looks awesome. The rivoted-splitter on the front completes the look. The only thing missing is a nice set of coilovers.

It's a beater, and turned out very well, he needs to get the inside converted to black or green, it was/is red. But yeah, it looks great for a budget build!
