Have you thought about fiberglassing over the license plate area to get the shaved look? I'm thinking about picking up some cloth and resin and trying to get it to shape across that gap. Does anyone know if this has been done or failed at? I might need to pick up a spare hatch...

Most people have used a metal plate over that area and some have also tried bondoing it in. Metals probably you best option but fiberglassing may work good as well.

Do you know if any good write ups exist on the subject? I do wish I had some good fiberglass experience though.

Holy cats Tim you've been busy! Looking very nice man.. I love how the rear bar gives you a perfect board holder hah. Take that front plate off though

So of all the recent mods, what's your favorite so far?

Thanks guys! And it is a perfect board holder hahaa. No front plate is illegal here and i don't need to give the po's a reason to pull me over.

It's hard to say what my favorite thing is. I love the poly sway bar bushings and i'd highly recommend them to anyone. They were $13 at autozone. HUGE difference in handling. And the wheels are just nice to look at.
