My 03 SVT

Here is my introduction.

I am very familiar with forums first of all, been over on fordfestiva.com since '08. I have lots of festiva parts, including a total of 6 festiva's, and I'm only 20. This focus is my first "nice" car. I live in St. Cloud, MN and I really do love driving my SVT! Some slow mods are going to happen over time, but probably nothing too major. Anyway, unto the pics!

This is my friend's Cougar, 3L swap, quaife, lots of stuff done to it, as quick as a stock '10 stang gt

Random Mini lol....

This is my girlfriend's 03 focus with 17''s

Welcome to the forums! I myself own a ZX5 SVT in Infra Red, and I'm 21.

What mods do you have planned as of now? I suggest (just my opinion of course) since you have the factory HID's, you switch to a euro grill. It'll give it a cleaner look over all, and no more annoying turn signals/DRL's!

I do plan on keeping it nice. I want some suspension mods mostly, thinking of picking up the eibach pro kit. I really like that grille! Where do I get one? I'd also like to pick up some smoked bumper lights, and the dark HID projector headlights, or maybe paint these black. on the inside.

I can get you some pics of the 3L swap, but it truly does look stock under the hood.

to FF

Please for the love of god, no! Your OEM Mach HID's are far superior to every single aftermarket headlight there is, well except Dynabeams, but that's a different story. There are plenty of resources on here that will guide you through baking and painting your OEM headlights.

Check the Buy-Sell-Trade often for Euro parts, also you can sometimes find the Euro grilles on eBay.co.uk just make sure the seller is willing to ship. A lot of times, they say they wont ship to the U.S. but I still contact them anyway, I have gotten luck with convincing a few sellers to ship stuff to the US.

You got a real nice car to start with! Have fun with it!

Had the lunch box deleted with a magnaflow tip put on. Didn't make it much louder at all, which is good, but I'm a little disappointed haha, I was hoping there would at least be a little more sound there! Also, I'm already wanting more power, is it just me or do these cars suck at a dig?

Ford did a good job at squeezing the hp in these svt... I'd recommend a Tune.. It'll free up a couple ponies..

I mean, top end feels just fine to me, but when I'm taking off in 1st from a dead stop it just really feels like it dies down until it hits a certain rpm. The car has got plenty of get up and go for me, I was very impressed that I could go 110 in 4th gear knowing I had 2 more gears to go.

Zetec engines aren't known for their low end power, your absolutely right. Take care of the small infra red beast, they are rare.
