I am super excited for this trip. Already have things in order in terms of my schedule set for this. Figured a 4-5 day weekend for me.

I know that South TX (Houston) guys are excited and also working out whether to go or not, but ... I think this may work.

With a bit of cash each paycheck aside and a day on Ramon Noodles ... we can get everyone to go with out the worries of financial woes.

TX Pride ... lets get this cooker going.

I had a thought

Let's get TX Crews to meet up in NORTH DALLAS to start.

It will be a drive for us in Houston, the guys in San Antonio or even the guys coming from Down South. Anyone from El Paso ... you are more than welcome to roll towards Houston the day before have a place to crash ... thinking my place and then head out with us the next day.

From El Paso, I know the drive is like 10-12 hours to Houston. Been there a couple of times with friends.

So it can be done.

Plus most of us will need gas the moment we hit Dallas anyways.

So, no excuses peeps ... let's show the FF Community and FORD that we have a large following here and that they should jump into the game with us. And add a FORD HUB down south ... just saying lol.

Ill be coming from houston as well would like to meet up with some peeps if possible so i dont have to drive alone and all. (Well the gf will be the copilot but i mean a lone focus)

HEY ... another Houstonian.

Nice to have you on board. In the past 3 months, we have added about 2-3 new members.

You should make it out to one of our meets and meet the guys. There are plenty of us, probably about 15 now. It fluctuates. We had a group of 32 at one point.

And I am going most definitely, time off already set, money being put aside for the trip and have 2 back up plans of towing the Focus ... because I am racing the focus up there, I don't want to risk it falling apart going up or not having a ride coming back down. Long story ... can tell you at one of the meets. lol

Welcome aboard, and hope you make it out to a meet prior to the Caravan for FocusFest.

Nice to see such a large following in my area!! I would like to make a meet but a little emabarrased my my stock focus. Has her for almost 2 weeks and the only things done is Window tint and 2 12'a in the hatch. Not much compared to most of you!

Stock cars are welcome. Take time to figure out a budget and mod the car right. Don't just jump on the wagon and start throwing stuff on the car. Welcome to the Houston group.

Agree with Spraypaint. No need to be embarrassed. You come to meets to learn of what others have done with their cars like yours, see what you like and to learn more about your car as well.

Also, just to hang with our crowd in the Houston group. We welcome anyone. Really. We had a Volvo guy once come a few times, we have had a Mitsubishi guy come out and one of our members just jumped in to an older Audi. For us, it's all about the hang out and not the bias talk of who's car is better than whose, or not modded.

So, come and hang and don't worry.

Hotel was booked............ however was not in the block that was reserved. My gf found a room with a king sized bed instead of the two doubles. And it was a whole $2 cheaper lol
