I would do it... I had DCT issues with my 12 SEL, trans out twice leaking like a sieve, vibrated at highway speed. Ford would not do crap for me. I traded in on a ST and did not get anywhere near your offer. I know guy who tried trading a maxed out Titanium with 8k miles and only got offered 16500 from Ford and Carmax. Your deal doesn't sound all that bad..........

I am still working with the Ford Motor Company to see if they will buy back mine. Right now they have x plan for a new ford with me trading mine in. I want more then trade value so I'm still holding out. Not to mention my ride is back in the shop, so once it's back ill shop dealers and see what I can get.

12T...that is too funny. This is exactly what I want my dealer to do, but, they won't. I too have had many tranny issues and other problems and told them I would like to get a fair value to trade it back and then I would buy an ST or maybe new fusion. I lease mine and am over the 1/2 way mark of the 36 month lease, but, they will only offer KBB value for my SEL which is mid-high 13's! Puts me 5K upside down which is too much. I'm trying to get them to give me more value, say $16K, but, so far I'm getting no cooperation even after complaining to regional customer service Mgr. If they won't work with me, I will have to ride it out, but, I'm dumping Ford at that point and will advise others to do the same. To your point..I'd take that deal. See if you can put a little bit down to close the gap. I test drove an ST2. Engine sounded phenominal. Recaro seats were tight though..something to consider. They are snug!

Just wanted to offer my experience with the Recaro's. I am about 6ft tall, and weigh in at 240 lbs. I have broad shoulders. I can honestly say that having spent some time in the car, I like the seats. True, they really hold you in place but they are very supportive and very comfortable, if a little firm. At first, I thought they would bother me but now I am very pleased with the seats.

^I agree, im 6 foot 4 and 250lbs and i love the seats. At first i wasnt so sure because they were pretty tight but now i have had it a bit and they have broken in a little i like them a lot.
